Save the Children UK (SCUK) is a leading international NGO working to create a better world for children. We provide emergency relief and implement education, health and child protection programmes. We are seeking an experienced national staff member to work in Kupang, West Timor to support activities for three field offices in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT).
Field Grant Officer (FGO – WT, 1 post )
The Field Grant Officer (FGO) position is designed to support the Programme Manager and the team in NTT by facilitating the most effective and efficient use of a diverse range of funding. Within Save the Children's financial framework, this person is responsible for implementing and undertaking financial and grant management, and supporting budget activities. The FGO will also provide support to Save the Children's staff and LNGO partners in developing and maintaining efficient financial and documentation systems in order to maximise field programme implementation and operations. The FGO must be able to produce high quality financial reports and provide leadership in budget monitoring activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, Master's degree is preferable
• 3 years proven experience as a Finance Officer in an international NGO or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated strong computer skills and abilities, particularly in spreadsheets and finance systems
· Good communication and presentation skills (in English and Bahasa Indonesia)
· Strong attention to detail and able to work with limited supervision
· Willingness to work and travel in remote areas
