SENIOR BUYER
(for Beauty and Health Care Product)

This is a permanent position to be based in Jakarta, and the successful candidate can look forward to an attractive pay package that will commensurate with qualification and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

The incumbent will report to Merchandise Controller
· Liasing with Marketing Department for interesting promotion events which follow pre agreed selling plan
· Negotiate and work with vendors to build mutually beneficial relationships to ensure long term strategic partnership, leading to lower cost and higher margin

Responsible for all facets of getting merchandise
Establish and maintain effective margin and price controls which maximize business profit whilst delivering a good value offer to customer
Identify the most cost effective supplier without jeopardizing the company's standard
Manager stock levels and markdown to ensure product availability is high yet ensure that cash flow is maximized by controlling stock level in both warehouse and stores within set target.
Ensure the smooth functioning of stores in terms of product, promotion, presentation and pricing.
Assert high level of administrative control to ensure the smooth running of the specific Merchandise Department
Build an effective and open working relationship both within the Merchandise Dept and with other Dept.
Maintain the records and up dates of pricing, promotion
Requirement:

Minimum bachelor degree from a reputable university
Having 3 years minimum as Merchandiser/Senior Buyer/Key Account Manager for beauty care, health care, personal and skin care product
Those who are currently holding Key Account Manager Position for beauty and skin product are encouraged to apply.
Positive personality, excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to build strong relationships quickly and easily.
In line to the nature of product, female candidates are preferred
Fluent in English, both oral and written.
