IT Administrator
Key Responsibilities:
* Administration and maintenance of Windows network infrastructure, LAN/WAN.
* Hardware, software and office equipment maintenance & troubleshooting ;
* General user support.
* Overall IT security maintenance and enhancements.
* Development of new programs in projects to streamline business processes.
* IT suppliers/vendors relationship and management.
* Enhancement of the functionality and usage of the ERP platform.
Key Requirements:
* Degree/Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized institution is a
MUST.
* Certifications such as MCSE, MCSA are considered a plus.
* Min. 5 years¹ total work experience in information systems of which min. 2
years in administering network and desktop systems in a corporate
environment is a MUST.
* Broad knowledge of Windows client-server systems (XP, NT, 2000, 2003) and
common security applications (antivirus, gateways, firewalls, back up
systems).
* Good knowledge of database concepts and applications (Oracle, SQL,
MS-Access) various programming skills (VB6, VBA, PHP, Java).
* Exposure to major ERP systems is an advantage but not absolutely
necessary.
* Motivation and capacity to acquire new skills will be more important.
* Good level of English and ability to relate well with internal and
external parties.
* Adaptable, self-motivated and keen learner and a pro-active team player.
